Captain Stan Jackson

Captain Stan Jackson is one of the most experienced and dynamic commercial fishing boat captains in southern CA today.  A US Coast Guard licensed 100 Ton Master, Stan is an active NAUI Instructor Trainer and a Los Angeles County Instructor. 

With over 30 years experience skippering boats in southern CA waters, Stan has a gift for seeking out the best fishing and kayaking sites, based on current conditions.  During his tenure, Stan has piloted various fishing and dive boats in the southern CA fleet.  He has also captained the University of Southern CA research vessel. 

Stan has been working for the Long Beach Fire Rescue for over 28 years.  He has been a Public Safety Diver for 15 years and a Fire Boat Pilot for over 22 years.  As a Pilot, Stan is in charge of the 90 foot Fire Rescue Boat, the Challenger.

As an instructor for the Long Beach Fire Rescue, Stan has helped certify several police officers, lifeguards, and public safety divers, over the years.
